1. It is the norm and quite acceptable that highly trained professionals, often recently retired from our Armed Forces, provide on-site assistance and training to our accredited Allies. In the case of military aviators and air engineers, these services are usually supplied through contractual agreements with British Aerospace Systems who act as middle-men and, expectedly, take a handsome slice of the associated financial cake.
  2. Providing proactive support to our Allies is one thing. Doing the same for those who might well do us harm is quite another matter and, at the very least, must be described as mercenary, misguided and a threat to our Strategic National Security.
  3. The transfer of military expertise may be achieved through face-to-face instruction, but it can also be achieved through the illegal transfer of training documents that spell out the detailed Operational Training Syllabus of our own aircrew. The serious question arises, “if you can sell your soul to a prospective enemy of UK and the West, how far are you willing to go with your disloyalty?”
  4. As we all know, the Communist Chinese are adept at providing financial aid incitement to Third World governments and then turning around and holding those governments to ransom. What is to prevent them from creating a similar headlock over RAF mercenaries, some of whom it has been reported have intimate, hands-on knowledge of the UK F-35B air defence fighters destined for service in our aircraft carriers?
  5. The collusion of British Aerospace Systems in this transfer of information to the Communist Chinese should not be treated lightly by our Secretary of State for Defence and his Cabinet colleagues and should be investigated urgently.
  6. The House of Commons Defence Committee should also be sounding warning bells about this disgraceful affair and should demand that the Chief of the Air Staff appears “in swords and medals” to explain what is going on.
  7. This transfer of highly sensitive military information to the Communist Chinese must be curtailed immediately and those responsible for conducting it must be held to account.

Absolutely correct and very important that Governmental action is taken immediately to identify and name participants in both the RAF operators and BAE personnel involved in this betrayal of trust.

    Hi Sharkey
I think this a dreadful reflection on the RAF, and I hope that there are no ex-FAA boys involved (in case the reports are inaccurate). There are plenty of friendly countries where they could advise such as Oman where I spent many years and was quite well paid.

The RAF have not shot any other aircraft down, I believe, since WWII, so I wonder what military expertise they are imparting. Could be a spoiler!
