On Monday, 23 October 2023, POTUS quoted Ronald Reagan, “Trust but Verify”, but without crediting Ronald Reagan as the source. Regarding verification, there is enormous incontrovertible evidence that Iran funded and supported the horrific events of October 7 and maintains control of all the terrorist groups within the Middle East whose corporate objectives include, “The Annihilation of Israel”, “Death to the United States” and “The Genocide of All Infidels”. Biden repeatedly ignores these stated objectives and remains in denial concerning the need to neutralise the power and influence of the Islamic Republic.
There is an old saying in the Caribbean, “Open the Mouth and Words Come Out”. When words come out of Biden’s mouth and those of his spokespersons denying reality and appeasing the Islamic Republic of Iran, we in the West despair of his Administration’s “weak leadership”.
Biden also stated this week that attacks on US forces in Iraq and Syria “had nothing to do with Israel”. That is poppycock. But his statement continues to be supported by spokespersons such as Rear Admiral John Kirby who appears to have a set answer for many of the concerned questions that he faces in press briefings. He champions diplomacy and negotiation over action, reiterating continuously that “we are working very hard behind the scenes to achieve our objectives”.
Iran lives by the sword, cannot be trusted, and cannot be deterred or overcome by appeasement and without any substantial demonstration of overwhelming military power. That power needs to be unleashed immediately and incrementally to destroy all Iranian proxies and to limit Iran’s power and influence within the Middle East.
Iran is the bad apple in the Middle East barrel and if it refuses to submit to internationally acceptable behaviour, then it should indeed be put to the sword. It lives by the sword and should die by the sword when all else fails.
Who or what influences POTUS in his misguided dedication to appeasement rather than appropriate action? Part of the answer appears to lie in the constitution of the Administration’s staff. Two examples spring to mind.
Maher Bitar is currently the Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Intelligence Programs on the White House’s National Security Council staff. He is the highest-ranking intelligence official in the US administration as well as the “Palestinian” with the most amount of intelligence clearance. His appointment has been a huge win for the PLO and Hamas in their drive to destroy the Jewish people.
Hady Amr is the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Statefocused on Israel-Palestine relations. In an interview with Georgetown’s Berkley Center ahead of a conference he led in Doha in 2007 as the founding director of the Brookings Institute’s Center in Qatar, Amr stated it would be in everyone’s interest to engage the Muslim Brotherhood. Qatar is the Brookings Institute’s biggest funder.
There are more, but both Maher Bitar and Hady Amr have highly influential positions in the administration. Joe Biden can claim he is a friend of Israel, but those are empty words if he is hanging out with and employing/being advised by those who support terrorism against the Jewish people.
